The IUTAM Symposium on Dynamics and Control of Nonlinear Systems with Uncertainty, hosted by Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA), will be held on NUAA Campus at the Ming Palace from September 18th to 22nd, 2006.

Participation
It continues the tradition of earlier IUTAM Symposia in the field of nonlinear dynamics and control in engineering (Stuttgart, 1990; London, 1993; Eindhoven, 1996; Cornell, 1997, Rome, 2003). Participation in the Symposium is restricted to invited scientists, their selection is done by the Scientific Committee on the basis of the need for an international balance and for the inclusion of a significant number of young researchers. The overall plan for this Symposium includes about 40 lectures, 20 posters and a total number of less than 70 participants. Any further person wishing to participate in the Symposium should contact Professor Haiyan Hu, Chairman of the Scientific Committee.

Technical Program
The provisional technical program will include about 40 lectures and 20 poster presentations, and it will be proceeded from Sept 18th to 22nd, 2006. The summaries of all accepted presentations will be published on this website as of July 1, 2006. A booklet of abstracts will be available at the symposium.

Notification of acceptance: March 31, 2006
Deadline of on-line registration: June 30, 2006

Symposium Proceedings:
Full papers of both lectures and poster presentations will be published, subject to positive review, as Symposium Proceedings by Springer-Verlag (formerly the Kluwer Academic Publishers), within 9 months after the symposium. The regular registration fee (but not the student fee) includes the cost of one copy of the proceedings; additional copies may be ordered at the conference rate. The final camera ready manuscript of the paper will be collected at the meeting in Nanjing.
